Permissions explained
Know what
you’re approving.
The approved trading agent allows trades and position management, but cannot withdraw funds. Browser setup keeps your key in your wallet. Optional Telegram setup temporarily uses a dedicated trading wallet’s key for approvals, then discards it; only the encrypted agent key is retained. Never share seed phrases or keys with support.

Trading access
The approved trading permission allows trades and position management. It does not allow withdrawals.
- 02
Wallet ownership
Browser setup keeps your private key in your wallet. Optional chat setup creates or imports a dedicated trading wallet, temporarily uses its key for approvals, then discards it. Save your backup before funding.

Pause or remove access
Pause copying or confirm /disconnect to pause manual trading and copying for the selected trading account. Revoke the agent approval through Hyperliquid when you want to remove trading authority.

Hyperliquid bot permissions
Understand access.
Know how to remove it.
Trading authority and bot-fee approval are separate parts of setup. Withdrawal control stays with your wallet, but trading authority can still open and close positions.
Trading access is meaningful
Hypertg’s approved trading agent can perform supported trading actions, but cannot withdraw funds. Trading access still carries risk: Hyperliquid positions can lose money or be liquidated. Review the wallet, agent approval and your settings.
Review the setup workflowPause versus revoke
Confirming /disconnect pauses manual trading and copying for the selected trading account. Removing trading authority requires revoking the relevant agent approval through wallet-permission controls. Neither action closes existing Hyperliquid positions or cancels every exchange order. Review positions and orders separately.
Compare pause, revoke and closeCheck access before resuming
Review the wallet and current approvals on Hypertg before resuming. A removed or insufficient agent or bot-fee approval can block trading until setup is completed again. Do not approve access you do not recognize.

Before your first trade
Good questions.
Clear answers.
Trading authority, bot-fee approval and removing access.
What can an approved Hyperliquid trading agent do?
The approved agent can perform supported trades and position management. It cannot withdraw funds through that trading permission. Trading authority still matters: it can open and close positions, and trades can lose money or be liquidated.
Link to this answer: What can an approved Hyperliquid trading agent do?Is /disconnect the same as revoking the agent?
No. Sending /disconnect opens a confirmation. Confirming it pauses manual trading and copying for the selected trading account. Removing trading authority requires reviewing and revoking the relevant agent approval through your wallet-permission controls. Review positions and orders separately because removing access does not automatically close them.
Link to this answer: Is /disconnect the same as revoking the agent? Are trading permission and bot-fee approval the same?
No. Trading authority and bot-fee approval are separate setup steps. Review both on Hypertg for the intended wallet. Missing or insufficient approval can block trading until setup is completed again; check the requested fee before approving it.
